Code 55 Track

ATLAS Code 55 track is designed to give your layout that super prototypical look.  The low profile rail and brown ties add that final touch of realism.  The ATLAS Code 55 Flex track is quite agile and easy to install.  Code 55 Turnouts have powered frogs to allow all locomotives to creep through without stalling.  We highly recommend purchasing Code 55 Rail Joiners and Code 55 Insulated Rail Joiners to obtain the best performance from these track products.

Additional Shipping Costs:  Due to it's fragile nature, Flex Track usually needs to be shipped separately from the rest of your order using a special box.  This incurs additional shipping charges.

Special Notice on ATLAS Code 55 Track:  There are known compatibility issues with ATLAS Code 55 Track and older N-Scale equipment with large wheel flanges.  This especially applies to older steam engines and MICRO-TRAINS cars.  Newly released MICRO-TRAINS cars now come with wheels that are compatible with ATLAS Code 55 Track however the fitting of MICRO-TRAINS low profile wheels is still recommended for best performance.  ATLAS Code 55 Track is not recommend for running European or Japanese N-Scale models.  Please understand and accept these conditions before you purchase ATLAS Code 55 Track.  The N-Scale Division can not accept returns of ATLAS Code 55 Track due to compatibility issues with your particular locomotives or rolling stock.
