Consignment Items

The MINITRIX items on this page are being offered on consignment stock by a friend who recently closed his hobby shop.  All models are in "store new" condition and have been thoroughly inspected by us for both visual appearance and operation.  Most items have the store price tags still on the boxes.  Some of the plastic boxes have cracks and this is noted below each item along with other information pertaining to condition and rarity.  Please read each of the notes carefully and ask questions before you buy as we cannot accept returns or exchanges on consignment items.  Finally, please note that most images on this page are stock photos from the MINITRIX website.

Availability:  Unless listed as "out" items on this page are in stock for immediate delivery.

The unit is placed on a section of live track which brings power to the brass brushes on the top.  Simply hold a locomotive on the top of the unit with the wheels making light contact with the brass brushes.  The wheels spin and are cleaned.  A unique solution to an age old problem. Note: Price written in pen on bottom of box otherwise perfect. This model is a vintage US piece from the very early days of MINITRIX. The locomotive runs well but lacks modern features. Wheels are silver, headlamps are bulbs, no flywheels, no DCC interface, etc. It is priced accordingly. This model was ground breaking for it's time because it was one of the few US outline locos that ran reliably.

Christmas Car 2004

Note: Price written in pen on bottom of box otherwise perfect.  The car comes encased in a clear plastic sphere with a small gold rope suitable for hanging on a Christmas Tree.  MINITRIX produced these cars only for a few years and they are quite rare.
