N-Scale Brass by PBL/BENCHMARK MODELS

PBL have a well earned reputation as the premier importer of Sn3 (S-Scale, 3 Foot Narrow Gauge) models.  They are known for producing locomotives that run just as good as they look.  Now after over 25 years of working with some of the best brass fabricators in the industry they are bringing their expertise to N-Scale under the name BENCHMARK MODELS. 

Brass models are not designed for the mass market and that's what makes them truly special.  They are produced in very small production runs of usually not more than a few hundred pieces.  They are very labor intensive which is the the reason they are priced the way they are.  For more detailed information see our special page called Information on Brass.

 BENCHMARK MODELS/PBL has entered the N-Scale market in a BIG WAY!  Their first series of models is centered around the Duluth Missabe & Iron Range (DM&IR) ore hauling railroad.  The first piece out is the enormous M-4 2-8-8-4 "Yellowstone" locomotive and it comes packaged with a G Series Caboose.  This will be followed by the DM&IR 2-10-4's.  For more technical information about these models please visit the PBL/BENCHMARK website.  This link will open in a separate window allowing you to easily come back to our website.
